The CGCA's Planning and Licensing sub-committee involves itself in all planning and licensing issues in Covent Garden. It pays particular attention to applications (whether new or change of use) that will affect the quality of life of local residents. We are intimately involved with licensing issues, especially around the impact of the Licensing Act 2003 and '24-hour drinking'.
